Lexington is one of the most educated cities in the entire country, with almost 40% of all residents having at least a Bachelor’s Degree. There are 13 institutions of higher education in the area, the most notable being the University of Kentucky. And these college grads enjoy a low unemployment and a plethora of job opportunities from local and national companies, benefitting from one of the most stable local economies in the U.S.
