If you’d looking for a little luck of the Irish, we’ve got plenty of activities going on in Central Kentucky this weekend!
Lexington:
Lexington St. Patrick's Parade and Festival: Saturday, March 16th, Downtown Lexington
This year marks the 34th annual St. Patrick’s Parade and Festival in downtown Lexington. The day kicks off with the 7th annual Shamrock Shuffle 3K benefiting the Lexington Habitat for Humanity at 8am and then continues on with the Irish festival from 11am-7pm. The St. Patrick’s Parade with begin at 1pm on Main Street from Midland to Mill Street.
Lexington Comic and Toy Convention: Saturday, March 16th-Sunday, March 17th, Lexington Convention Center/Heritage Hall
Geek it up at this year’s Comic and Toy Convention at the Lexington Convention Center and Heritage Hall. The convention is from 10am-6pm on Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sunday. Admission starts at $10. Celebrity guests include Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian from Star Wars), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca), Marina Sirtis (Counselor Troi from Star Trek), Jason David Frank (Green Power Ranger), Walter Jones (original Black Ranger), Margot Kidder (Lois Lane), Doug Jones (Silver Surfer) and many more!

Georgetown:
Road to the Horse: Friday, March 15th – Sunday, March 17th, Kentucky Horse Park
Road to the Horse dares elite horse trainers to create a trusting partnership with a wild 3-year-old Quarter Horse. Only one can walk away with the Colt Starting World Champion title. The Competition runs Friday 9am-6pm, Saturday 9am-4pm, Sunday 8am-3pm. Tickets start at $80.
