Weekend Project: Lawn Care

With the fourth of July holiday coming up next Wednesday, this weekend is your last chance to get your lawn and landscape in tip-top shape for those family and friend get-togethers you’re having at your house.

Besides just the obvious mowing, trimming, pruning, and raking, these are a few quick fixes that you can do in addition to your normal landscaping routines that will give your lawn a fresh, clean look. Some of these items can be completed in a few minutes, while others may take a little longer. Choose which ones best work for your time schedule to create an inviting space for your backyard barbecue and firework show.

Market Scoop: May 2012

2012 is shaping up to be a good year for Real Estate in Central Kentucky!  The key indicators for our market are very encouraging. The inventory of homes on the market are down from 6,721 in May of 2011 to 6,145 in May of 2012. We are actually starting to see multiple offer situations again on Lexington homes! The number of sold homes is up substantially from 672 in May of 2011 to 785 in May of 2012.  The number of solds in May of 2012 is a big jump from the 638 solds in April of 2012.

Great Smiles and Golf Swings

The Home Builders Association of Lexington held their annual Golf Scramble Thursday, June 14th at Old Silo Golf Course in Mount Sterling, KY. A total of 18 teams of four came out for the event.
