Scarefest 2022

Are you a fan of frights, food, and fun? Then make plans to attend the 2022 Scarefest Horror and Paranormal Convention. This frighteningly fun event starts today and goes through the weekend, 10/21/22 – 10/23/22, at the Central Bank Center in Lexington, Kentucky.  This year’s convention will present many unearthly celebrities, host over one hundred vendors, entertainers, includes a film festival, and a terrifyingly competitive costume contest. There is plenty of spooky fun to be had this weekend.

For fans of Stranger Things season Four, you might recognize the headlining guest from his time playing the old man, Victor Creel. But many of us know him as one of the most iconic horror villains of all time, Freddy Kreuger from the Nightmare on Elm Street movie series. That’s right, Robert Englund will be attending this year’s convention. Horror fans rejoice for the chance to meet one of the foundational pillars of the slasher and psychological horror genres....

Football and Keeneland Double Dip

There hasn’t been a Saturday this exciting in a while! Keeneland is open, the horses are racing, the bourbon is flowing, and our Wildcats are preparing to kick some Mississippi State tail!
