From being an inner city kid in Philadelphia, PA, I left at age 17 to join the Navy and see the world. I accomplished this as I served for four years and travelled extensively through Europe and the Caribbean. At age 21, I married my wife, Faye.
After a few years of marriage, and two daughters later, I was called into ministry, and we moved to Wilmore, Kentucky so I could attend Asbury College and Seminary, earning a degree in Bible and Christian Education and Master of Divinity degree. I supported my wife and two daughters with my electrical contracting business, while in school and pastoring in Kentucky. When we returned to Pennsylvania, after residing for 7 ½ years in Kentucky, I went to night school and earned a certificate in Business Management. I pastored for the next 33 years in Pennsylvania.
I have always loved to travel and meet people and continued doing so, while in the Ministry I traveled and ministered in Honduras, Haiti, Israel and India. In Honduras and Haiti, I ministered by teaching seminars to pastors and workers and speaking at preaching opportunities. There were also opportunities to do hands on construction projects in the communities. I have been to India twice. While there I did a lot of teaching seminars with the local Christian Pastors and spoke at very large services with the local people, of course, with a translator. I also visited many orphanages, some for handicapped children. My goal is to bring awareness of the needs they have and raise support to help. Over the years I have formed many long lasting relationships with people in these countries, and continue to work for these missions.
Since leaving Pennsylvania a year ago and moving back to Kentucky, my thirst for knowledge and learning has not diminished. Little did I know a year ago when my wife and I bought our home in Kentucky from Milestone Realty, that I would now be working for them! It is a joy to be in Kentucky and in this new career opportunity! I look forward to selling or listing that next house!
