There’s no shortage of things to do in Lexington this weekend!

UK logoWatch the #2 ranked Cats take on the LSU Tigers tonight as 7:00 in the battle of the SEC quarterfinals. The last time UK played LSU, it came down to the final minute of overtime for UK to be victorious by 1 point, so you know that this game will be equally exciting! Lexington’s Irish Festival, Saturday, March 15th, 8:00am-7:00pm

Bring out your inner Irish at the Lexington Irish Festival this Saturday. Festivities begin with the Shamrock Shuffle 3K race at 8:00am starting on Vine Street. Immediately after the race the Festival begins, followed by the 35th annual Alltech Lexington St. Patrick’s Day Parade at 1:00pm on Main Street in downtown Lexington. There will be plenty of activities for the whole family, including Irish food and drinks, Irish music and dancers, and various children’s activities. Lexington Comic and Toy Convention, Friday, March 14th-Sunday, March 16th

Let your geek flag fly this weekend at the 2014 Comic Con convention at Heritage Hall at the Lexington Convention Center. Tickets are already sold out for Friday night’s events, so you’ll want to hurry if you want to be a part of this weekend’s festivities. Guests include William Shatner and George Takei of Star Trek fame, Lou Ferrigno from The Hulk, Melissa McBride from The Walking Dead, and many others!
